Food Program for Haiti (FPH)

WHAT DOES FPH DO?

At the Food Program for Haiti (FPH), we endeavor in three specific areas:

School Canteen Program

More than 300 students attend our school, EMFB K-6, in Saint-Marc, Haiti. With this school canteen, a lot of those students will be able to get at least one meal a day.

Family Food Program (Local Church)

Our family food program has helped hundred of families in our local church community. Our goal is to support those families who are vulnerable with a monthly food kit.

Church Food Program (Associate/Regional Churches)

Although our resources are limited, we couldn't turn a blind eye to the other 20 plus churches under our ministry. The purpose of this program is to support our associate churches with a monthly food distribution.

Why donating to the Food Program for Haiti?

Although The AGT Center Haiti Project's main goals are long-term, we can not ignore the daily difficulties that people in our community are facing; one of them is food shortage.

The current condition

Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.

Food shortage

An estimated 60 percent of the population lives below the poverty line, searching for food to eat, clean water to drink, and a safe place to live.

The Consequence

One-fifth of all Haitian children suffer from malnutrition, and 67 of every 1,000 children die before reaching their fifth birthday.

Each year, we ship food  to help the most vulnerable in our community in Saint-Marc, Haiti (Department of Artibonite).

There is a humanitarian crisis of epic proportion in Haiti right now. 


We really need your support in order to continue the Food Program for Haiti. The following items are needed:

 

  • Bags of Wheat Grain; Bags of Cereal
  • Bags of Rice; Bags of beans  
  • Bags of Cornmeal; Bags of Rolled Oats
  • Bags of Wheat Flour & Sugar
  • Jugs of Cooking Oil 
  • Bags of Spaghetti/Pasta
  • And any non-perishable items
